This was such a fun read! Redford captured my heart with her protagonists. I was immediately drawn to Charlotte and Jordan and rooting for them from the beginning. I also SUPER hated Declan right away. The couple was cute and domestic from the start. It was clear they were a fantastic match. This book is great to devour in an afternoon or savor during a weekend at the poolside. I look forward to more from the Detroit Pirates series!

Great book, well written, with a good story line. Though I love the Detroit Redwings I am enjoying reading about the Detroit pirates. The book will keep you engaged and interested.

This book was good, but a little predictable for me. I enjoyed falling in love with Jordan & Charlie, none the less, though. You could feel the chemistry between them and the emotions flowing through the pages.
I do recommend trying this book out for yourself!

Luckily I got this book through KU and didn't spend any money. Sadly, I did spend time on it. This book wasn't bad it was just boring. Time in the book just flew by and there wasn't anything happening. At all. What really got me was the epilogue. It was a HFN ending. The ring "but not that kind of ring" was strange. I did finish it, hoping something would happen. Nope. At least it was short.
There’s nothing I really disliked except for the character of Declen Reed (jerk) and the fact that I finished the book already. I LIVE for romance novels, but ones that are written WELL...just like this one. If this is your kind book, READ THIS!!!
This was awesome! I read it before the extensive changes, but everything I loved from the plot was still there, and there was bonus hockey! And original twists! The characters are fun and relateable, and it was just a good time.
